Internet Marketing Advice: Who Can You Trust?

It is a shame really that I am even considering writing an article about who to trust when it comes to Internet marketing advice. However, the truth is that there is a lot of conflicting advice and some is based purely on saying what people want to hear rather than the truth.

There have been many scams online and I am sure there still are and will continue to be so but I would hope that people are more vigilant now when it comes to believing statements that when you break them down sound unbelievable. The old saying that 'if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is' has hopefully prevented a large number of people from wasting their money.

When it comes to starting an online business or learning about Internet marketing there are so many people giving advice that it is easy to become overwhelmed. There are many aspects to Internet marketing that you need to learn and visiting forums can provide you with a whole load of information for free but the difficulty comes when you have to actually sit down and implement the things that you have learnt.

Where do you start? In what order should you do things? So you look for more help and advice!

So who can you trust? Well, there are in fact many trustworthy people online that you can go to and learn from. You will often find that the process or blueprint that they use is very similar it is just the way that they actually implement it that differentiates them.

We all have different ways of doing things and we tend to find the way that works best for us and when it comes to creating a successful business online we are no different. So it is best to find someone to learn from who you feel you are able to connect with best.

Here are some things to check:
  •     Do they have a solid guarantee?
  •     Do they practice what they preach?
  •     What are other people saying about them?
  •     Do they always say what you want to hear?
  •     Do they make it sound too easy?
  •     Are they consistent?
  •     Are they easy to contact?

We tend to trust people who are similar to ourselves and this is good news! It means that if you are an internet marketer then there will be people out there who resonate with you rather than your competition!
